Keiko....

Well, last weekend we ended up adopting the cutest dog in the world. I wrote about the dog showing up when the young men were helping out in our yard, but anyway, we decided to keep her. The owner left a note that said she is an Alaskan Malamute, she is 2 years old, and she is up to date on all of her shots. Our neighbor did all of these tests with her to see if she was aggressive and safe around kids and said she was not aggressive at all. All of our neighbor kids love her and she has been so good with them. Her favorite thing is to get her belly rubbed. I guess that is a sign of submission, so that is good. She really has been so much fun so far and really is the perfect dog. She is so funny, she hides where she goes in the bathroom in the little spot which is perfect for us, she loves being brushed, and she loves her dental sticks (which means she has clean teeth and good breath), she doesn't bark, and she won't take your food. I have loved running with her and am thinking we can train for a marathon together. Other dogs will bark at her and she never barks or pays attention to them. Our nephews have loved it when we bring Keiko over. She is an outdoor dog because we don't want to have her inside if we adopt a baby soon, but she loves it out there. It's kind of funny because we are getting a dog trainer so she will be a perfect dog. (Ha ha) She really is so good already, but we are the one's that need the help. Anyway, she has been so much fun and Ron and I have had fun taking her on walks!
