USA USA USA

USA USA USA
We are loving the Olympics at our house. We have especially loved watching the Women's Gymnastics Events! It is so cute because Reese has practically memorized the Simone Biles floor routine, but she loves the music from Gabby Douglas's routine. I have to admit that I got emotional more than once watching the gymnasts. I think it came from watching Reese, who is at the beginning of her gymnastics experience, and then watching these gymnasts who have worked so hard to get to where they are. We really liked it when they would show a video of the gymnasts when they were little. Reese loved watching these videos because they were working on the same things that she is learning. She would immediately have to show me that she could do it too. I was amazed that after watching the Gymnastics team event that Reese was able to do a straddle dismount on her own. She has been working on this dismount for almost 4 months. It was awesome!  I love the Olympics and am inspired by the work ethic, passion, and determination that the athletes demonstrate. Go Team USA!

My little Asian Rockstar!!!

I sure love my Nora Boo! I thought Nora was hilarious at the age of 2, but 3 just keeps getting better and better. She is absolutely hilarious and you have to just watch her for yourself to see how funny she is. The other day, Reese was telling us that she wanted to be a Veterinarian Doctor when she grew up. Reese then asked Nora if she wanted to be a Doctor when she grew up. Nora said, "I don't want to be a Doctor, I want to be a Rockstar!" Then she started playing her air guitar. It was hilarious!  She has been on a rockstar kick lately and when we went school shopping, Nora found this leather jacket and she said that she had to have her rockstar jacket. She then found this guitar purse and she played her purse in front of the mirror in the store for a good 10 minutes. I love how animated Nora is anytime she dances, sings, or when she plays her violin.

I have to honestly say that everyday, I find myself just looking at Nora do her thing and thanking Heavenly Father that she is mine. She is such a light in our lives and anyone that knows her life as well. Every morning when I am running on the treadmill, she slowly opens the door and I wait for her cute little head to peak out. As soon as she sees me, she runs out and yells, "Mama" and gives me a big hug. I absolutely love it! She is so smart and loves all things sparkly. She will do homework worksheets all day if we let her and is always playing math games on the ipad. Tonight, we actually had to bribe her to eat her dinner before she started writing her name again. I am so excited for her to start school in a few weeks. I know she will love it and do great!  Nora also loves all things fancy. I curled her hair the other day and she wanted me to take pictures of every angle of her hair. I love this girl. She wears her sunglasses every where she goes and loves to have her purse as well.  She is so sweet, kind, and selfless, and I just love my Nora!

Boating day!!

I love the water! I grew up boating, vacations on the houseboat in Lake Powell, water skiing, wake boarding, and cliff jumping. I just love the water. I especially love the water when I get to spend the day on the water with my family. A couple weeks ago we went boating with my family and the kids loved tubing. Reese loved going with the big boys and going fast on the tube. Nora loved going for the leisure rides on the tube, and Ren just loved throwing rocks in the water. Ren never falls asleep in my arms so I especially loved it when he fell asleep in my arms while we were on the boat. It was a great day with the family and I can't wait until next time.

A fun day at Grandma's house.

We love going down to my Mom's house to play in the water and to ride bikes.  We live on a mountain so it is a little difficult for the girls to ride their bikes without going down the hill. Behind my mom's house is the Junior High school's track and the girls love riding their bikes behind the track. I loved listening to Reese and Nora yell words of encouragement to each other. "Reesie, look at me! I'm doing it!" "Good job Nora! Your'e getting the hang of it!" We had a great time playing in the water, riding bikes around the track, riding our bikes to the new park, and finishing off the night at Wendy's. We are loving these summer nights!

Independence Day

 Happy 4th of July!!!
I am so grateful to celebrate Independence Day with my beautiful family. I am very grateful to live in a country that allows me to adopt my beautiful children. I absolutely love my multi-racial family and I can't even imagine not having each one of them in our family.
Every holiday gets more and more fun with these kiddos. They make every holiday exciting. We love the parades, the candy, the fireworks, the cute stars and stripes accessories, the Snap-its, the flag tattoos, the face-painting, and the snow cones. We love the 4th of July!
