2 weeks old......

I forgot to mention that at one week, Ren went into the Doctor's office for his circumcision. He did great and his stats at one week were:
Weight: 9lbs 0.5 oz

2 Week Check-Up
Ren's 2 week check up was actually when he was 3 weeks old because he went back into the doctor's. 2 weeks from his circumcision. The doctor said he looked great and was healthy and strong! Here are his stats:
Weight: 9 lbs 5.5oz    54%
Height: 21"  48%
HC: 37cm     65%

3 Peas In a Pod

These three are seriously the cutest and I am grateful everyday that I have been chosen and entrusted to be their mother. It is a neat feeling as I go throughout my day that everything I have done in my life has helped me to prepare to be not just a mother, but the mother to our beautiful children. Every trial I have ever gone through was definitely worth it to have the testimony, knowledge, and love to raise our three chosen babies. They truly are amazing together. It is always neat to see the dynamics of our family as it grows.

Ren is our little angel baby that loves his sisters. He is always watching what they are doing and loves it when they play "peek-a-boo" with him or make silly faces at him. Although they don't understand why he is not laughing yet:)

Nora has taken on the role of big sister so naturally. I have been very impressed that she hasn't been jealous. She loves her baby brother and loves to feed him and take pictures of him. She also loves to hold him while she watches Team Umizoomi

Reese is my little mama. She is such a great helper and is constantly helping Ren with his binky, talking to Ren during tummy time, and helping with Nora. Reese is my selfless child that hates to see anyone cry so she is always trying to make sure that Ren and Nora are happy. Heavenly Father definitely made her to be the oldest child. She's an amazing big sister.

It has been the busiest and happiest time of my life. There was a time in my life that I didn't know if I would have the opportunity to be a mom and now I can say that I have 3 kids 3 and under. (At least I can say that until March 27th.) That is amazing and such a blessing. Heavenly Father has definitely blessed us more than we could have ever imagined.
                                                         We love our Three Musketeers!

4 days old....

Sorry about the late post.. I am still trying to play catch up.
A lot of people have asked me how I am adjusting to having 3 children and to be honest, it has been pretty easy so far. Reese and Nora play really well together and I could watch them play together all day. They adore Ren and bring him toys all day. It's great to be holding Ren, while I can hear the girls playing on the monitor upstairs. My heart just seems to grow bigger and bigger every day that this little guy is with us and it sinks in a little more and that he is not going anywhere.

Although sometimes it is difficult to wake up in the middle of the night for feedings, it really is one of my favorite times of the day. I love having that one on one time with Ren when it feels like the world is asleep and we are the only ones awake. I love this time when his eyes are wide awake and we just have little talks. I will take my one on one bonding time whenever I can. Ren has such a peaceful spirit and he is always so content. He is very strong and at 2 days, he could already hold up his head. It was difficult to burp him because he is always trying to lift his head and look at you. It amazes me how well he can concentrate on faces. When you talk to him, he will follow your voice which is pretty impressive for a baby his age.

He has been sleeping great. I think the girls help with his sleep/wake cycle because they are so loud in the daytime. He can easily sleep through almost anything. It's pretty amazing.. He usually eats about every 3 hours so he is on the 9:00, 12:00, 3:00, 6:00, 9;00 schedule. At night, he usually falls back asleep pretty quickly except he is awake around 9-11:00pm and also from about 3-5:00am. I am grateful for a husband that will get up in the middle of the night to help out. I think we have a routine that works pretty well for us. We will put the girls to bed around 8:00pm and then we get to spend some time together and with Ren. Then one of us will go to bed around 10:00pm while the other stays up for the 12:00 feeding. Whoever went to bed earlier will get up for the 3:00am  feeding and then the other for the 6:00am feeding. This works best for us.
-He is eating 45mls every 3 hours
-He loves looking out the window
- He loves watching his sisters
-He loves his swing
-He gets the hiccups a lot ( Darn it)
- He loves it when you wash and comb his hair
-He LOVES his bink
-Last but not least...... We are in LOVE!!

Welcome Home Baby Ren....

Welcome Home Baby Ren!!
We were so excited for the girls to meet their new baby brother. Reese and Nora were at Ron's parent's house and they were so excited when we walked in the door. They had to come see baby Ren and wanted him out of the car seat. They were so excited to help feed and burp Ren. Once we got home and situated, it was nice to just relax as a family. It still didn't quite seem real that he was a part of our family and that no one would be taking him from us. I think I have had walls up so much so that I wouldn't get hurt that it took a little while to realize that he wasn't going anywhere. When we got home, my heart melted as I watched Ron sit with Reese, Nora, and Ren. They truly are perfect together! It is overwhelming to think about how much Heavenly Father loves our beautiful children. They are truly chosen and I have felt that every day of their life. It is humbling to think about how much trust Heavenly Father has put in us to raise his choice spirits. Ren is so pure and I pray that I can always provide an environment in our home where he can feel the spirit. We love him so much and I pray that he will feel how much much he is loved every day of his life. Not only that he feels it, but that he knows it. He truly is straight from heaven and we are in love!

My mom, sister, and niece were so excited to meet Ren and came up a few hours after we got home. The girls decorated bibs for Ren and showered him with gifts.

My heart is so full of gratitude for the miracles that have taken place, to my Heavenly Father for bringing sweet Ren to our family, for our sweet girls that have taken on the role of big sister effortlessly, and for Ron who I love even more as I watch him hold our precious baby boy. My heart is so full!  Today was  a great day!!

Can you tell that I am in the way of Nora's show as I take the picture:)
