Park City Getaway

I truly have the best mom and sister. This has been our 2nd Annual girl's trip to Park City and it was so much fun! Last year, my mom and sister noticed that I never left my kids and so they planned a shopping trip to Park City and we had a lot of fun. They took me there again this year and it was even more fun! I was so sick with a pretty bad head cold, but I didn't want to miss out on this little getaway. I told my mom and sister to start taking their Airborne so they wouldn't get sick. We went down there when we had those huge rainstorms so we were not sure what to expect. The first night, we just went to eat and then spent the rest of the night at World Market. I love that place. I always find the most random gifts. We didn't do anything spectacular, but it was so fun to just eat ice cream and watch a movie in our hotel room and laugh hysterically. I usually have a difficult time not sleeping in my own bed, but I had taken some NyQuil so I slept great. We woke up and then went to the outlets and shopped all day long. My sister and I are kinda nerds and bought matching rain boots. We found a lot of cute clothes for our kids as well. We had such a fun little shopping trip and I am so grateful to spend time with my family. I am also so grateful for a wonderful husband that encourages me to do these types of things. I'm so grateful for a husband that can take care of all 3 kids and I don't have to worry about them or give him step by step instructions. He knows Ren's schedule, he knows the bedtime routine, and he does is everyday. He even took all 3 of the kids to the grocery story by himself and tried to do Reese and Nora's hair. I was seriously so proud of Ron when he sent me a picture of all the kids at the grocery story. They were still in their pajamas, but I thought it was cute that he tried to do the girl's hair. It was a great little getaway and I loved the welcome home hugs I got from my kids.

Mama's boy

This little guy has me wrapped around his cute little finger. I never quite understood when my friends would say that their little boy was a Mama's boy, but I am starting to understand now and I love it. I love that I can comfort him when he is sad and that he can tell me what is wrong in a matter of seconds. I love that he loves to hold my finger when he drinks his bottle. He is such a happy boy and I love to hear him laugh. I hope that he will always feel how much we love him and how much he is adored. We love our Renners so much!

Muffins 4 Moms.....

For Mother's Day at Reese's preschool, they celebrated Muffins 4 Moms. Reese was so excited to surprise me and she was doing her very best to keep her secret. She would tell me almost every day leading up to the party, " I have a surprise for you!" On the day of the party, my babysitter was a little late getting to the house and so I arrived at Muffins 4 Moms 2 minutes late and I felt SO bad. The kids were instructed to sit on the back porch steps until their mom arrives. Again, I was 2 minutes late and I was the second to last parent to arrive. I wanted when I saw Reese sitting on the steps wondering if I was coming or not. As soon as she saw me, she yelled, "Mommy" and ran over to me as fast as she could. She showed me where to sit and then she went to serve me muffins(that she helped make)  and lemonade. It was so cute to watch how excited she was to serve me and ask me if I wanted a refill. I love that her teachers help them to love serving. She also surprised me with a beautiful bracelet with a locket and a funny questionnaire. I absolutely loved it! Thank you Reesie for such a wonderful surprise.

As least she got my weight right! ha ha ha!

12 weeks old...

Happy 12 weeks Renners!! I am so in love with this little guy and he just keeps getting cuter and cuter. He is such a happy boy and loves to jabber away. The first 2 months were a little difficult because Ren had a little colic, but once we were able to find a formula that worked well for him, he became the happiest, cuddliest baby. I'm so glad he isn't hurting anymore and he can enjoy everything around him. He is now able to enjoy playing with his sisters, yelling at the dog, playing in his car, tummy time, cuddling, and just looking at things. One of my favorite times of the day is in the morning when I get to cuddle with my boy. If I hear Ren, I will just bring him into bed with me for a little and we will read scriptures and he will jabber away to me. If Ron hasn't left for work then Ren will wake him up with a good slap to the face or a good ear pull. Ren always gets so excited when he hears Ron's voice. Ren is super strong and has lots of energy. He can already sit in his bumbo, move himself across the floor, he has the strongest grip, and he is already trying to jump when you hold him. He is one busy little boy and I love it!

Nailed it..

Sometimes I have brilliant ideas..... and sometimes they go brilliantly wrong. ha ha ha!
