Happy Easter!!!
Happy First Easter baby Ren! We have had a busy couple weeks of Easter fun! Easter and General Conference means one great weekend. It seemed like the overall theme of conference was on the Family. I loved it! As the world moves farther away from the teachings of the gospel and the institution of the family, the church never waivers. I love that the Proclamation to the World on the Family was given 20 years ago and is now becoming well known around the world among various churches. It's powerful! I loved that the talked delivered at conference didn't just tell what we believed, but why we believe it. I loved watching Conference and cuddling with my kids.
We had an Easter egg hunt at my mom and stepdad's house and the girls were so excited. They really got the hang of hunting eggs and Nora especially was hilarious to watch. She would find an egg and point at it and yell, "Hey, Look!" and then pick up the egg. It was the same thing with every single egg and every time, it was hilarious! My mom is always trying to think of fun things for the kids to do and this year she came up with and Easter egg race. Nora got it in her head that she needed to keep the spoon in her mouth and balance the egg. She needed Grandma's help and then somehow convinced all of the kids to put the spoons in their mouth. She is quite a persuasive 2 year old. We had a great time and a great weekend.
