The other day I was watching my neighbor kids and Brooke wanted to brush a baby dolls hair and I have to admit that I purposely have not bought too many baby dolls just for my own sanity. Anyway, so we found a great replacement...........Keiko! She was such a good sport about it. Brook brushed her everywhere and put bows in her hair as well as head bands. It was so funny! I think the funniest part was later on when Ron and I took the dogs on a walk and Ron found the head band on Keiko's neck and asked, "What is this?" I would keep the bows on her if Ron would let me:)

Love 4 Laurie Carnival...
If anybody needs an inspiration, you need to go to my cute friend Laurie's blog. She has recently been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma and is undergoing chemotherapy. I absolutely love her and her family and they are the kindest people you could ever meet. She is the type of person that will always be a life long friend even though I have not seen her in a few years. She is such a champ as I watched the video on her blog of her shaving her head because her hair was falling out with a smile on her face. I was laughing and crying at the same time. I hope I can face my trials the way she is facing hers. To help support Laurie and Skyler, come support them at the "Love4 Laurie Fundraiser" on April 16th. (SEE flyer above:)) You can also stay updated by following their blog

Happy Anniversary!!!
On Tuesday, Ron and I celebrated our 3rd Anniversary. I can't believe how quickly the past 3 years have gone by. I absolutely love being married and am still so grateful that I have such a wonderful husband. Each year that goes by, I think that I know Ron better, but I really don't. This past year I have really learned who Ron is. As difficult as trials are, they can definitely strengthen your marriage. Also, trials can really tear apart your marriage if you let them. This past year, I think I really learned what a marriage is about. As Ron and I prayed, fasted, and cried together about our disappointments with adoption, I really learned about what it means to be united in our marriage. Ron has definitely been my emotional support this past year. Anyway, so I love my husband and think he is the greatest!
I am not a huge fan of getting flowers, but I love love live orchids!!! Ron has bought me one every year and I just wish I could keep them alive for longer than a couple of months.

Kolby's Birthday...
So a couple weeks ago, my Mom, sister, Isla, and I took Kolby shopping for her birthday and it was a lot of fun. She is so cute! We went to Toys R Us and she said that she wanted a barbie. We went down the barbie Isla and it was so funny. She would look at one side and gasp, "Ahhhh, the Rapunzel barbie", then she would gasp and point at another doll, "Ahhh, a fairy princess barbie." She was really cute. Barbies are so much more fun to shop for than clothes:) Later on we went to Red Robin and the waiter came out with a piece of cake that was as big as Kolby's head. It was hilarious!
