In October, we had a great time at Black Island Farms for Reese's preschool field trip. Black Island Farms is a huge corn field in Syracuse that has been turned into a corn maze, they have huge hay slides, hay rides, and other fun stuff for kids. The kids got to pick out a pumpkin in the pumpkin patch and they loved the corn box. We were only there for a few hours, but the kids absolutely loved it. Everyone was asleep in a matter of minutes by the time we started driving. Reese actually fell asleep on Ren, it was pretty cute.

Happy 6 months Renners....
I am almost 3 months late on this post, but it is better late than never. Ren is such a busy boy and is moving faster and faster. He started crawling, he loves eating ALL baby food, and is sleeping well through the night. He would not sleep in his crib when we finally tried to move him upstairs. We decided to move the pack n play up to his room and he slept great again. I guess we were in a transitional period because he slept in his pack n play ( right next to his crib) for about a month until he was used to the upstairs. Then he started sleeping in his crib just fine. Woo Hoo! We finally get to put the pack n play away. Ren is such a happy baby and loves it when anyone smiles at him. He takes 2 naps a day. Usually a 1 hr nap around 9:00 and then another nap around 1:00-4:00. He has 2 teeth and loves to chew on everything.
The 6 month mark was a huge milestone for our family. At 6 months is when we have Ren's adoption finalization and he officially becomes a Scoville. We also get to schedule Ren's temple sealing and have him blessed and have his name recorded in the records of the church. Big things are coming up for this little guy. We are so grateful for our little man.

I think Nora is allergic
I am trying to play catch up with all my posts that I had started a few months ago. By looking at these pictures, I think you might be able to tell that Nora has a mosquito allergy. This summer, she started getting these mosquito bites that would swell to the size of a baseball, which is really big on her small body. We started outlining her bites so we could watch how much they would swell. It's a good thing that Benadryl would take care of the swelling, but we will be a little bit more careful next summer. Hopefully there will not be quite as many mosquitos as there were this past summer.

Family Pictures 2015
I was so excited to have our family pictures taken. I always get a little nervous before pictures, but then I remember how grateful I am to have a family to take pictures with. I remember before we had kids, I couldn't wait for the day that we had children to take pictures with. Now when we get pictures taken, I honestly do not expect much from my kids. I just want their personalities captured. We usually do not have that perfect family photo, but we have a lot of candid pictures that captures the love my family has for each other. I love that!!
